    Some very very good points.

Many people in here were so quick to jump on Wlad even during the fight after 2-3 rounds.

Povetkin indeed caused a LOT of those clinches. It's just an ugly match-up.
Give Wlad some taller guys like Wach was and you'll see if he depends on clinch and lean.

And even though Haye blew his shot at Wlad, their fight was still not as bad and Haye did significantly better than Povetkin.

With that being said, I'm not quite sure why you brought up Haye.
It was an awful fight, but Haye-Valuev was worse that this.

Haye didn't do better than Povetkin, but he was "injured" after all so I let his performance slide

            Indeed

TS needs to get his eyes tested

Wlad clinched his way through the fight 183 times

The usual Clinchko brigade in here defending the indefensible per usual

That's funny because the clinches didn't seem to slow down his output at all in comparison to at least the David Haye fight (his other "dangerous" recent fight). He landed almost an IDENTICAL number of punches on Povetkin and Haye. And yet Povetkin and Haye landed a very similar punch output on Wlad as well which was about HALF of Wlad's landed punches. So he dominated them in a similar manner

Haye out landed Wlad's in the power punch stats

Wlad outlanded Haye with the jab

Haye and Wlad fight was very close each round, Wlads jab was what pipped him to the post

Pov was truly dominated and his face tells the story, Hayes face was still as handsom as ever and the mere fact he wasnt laid out on the floor and even managed to rattle Wlad in the 11th.

With Haye he was always in the fight with a chance to cause an upset whereas Pov by round 5 we knew it was over

Wlad excessively leaned and clinched in the Haye fight, but he did it even more so in the Pov fight, and also the fact he threw in 2 elbows, which did a lot of damage to Pov

Haye was never gassed like Pov and he figured a way out to counter the leaning by falling to his knee's thus conserving his energy- but that cost him points with the biased paid for Klit ref

However just like Pov, he couldn't figure out how to get past the clinching
