Cotto would be the bigger guy in the fight, Hatton won't be able to bully him like he did to all the opponents he's faced. Hatton wins his fights because he has such a desire and will but I doubt that that works with a guy like Cotto that is equally hungry and is as tough of a SOB as Hatton is. Cotto has a street meanstreak that allows him to slug it out with anyone.

It'll be a war, a classic, could go either way, but I'll pick Cotto.

you're taking that fight out of context, i truly do think that he succumbed to the phenomenon of "getting old over night" ... good win for rick.

Thats what I'm saying, Hatton forces his body shots, and forces people to fight with him. Cotto, if let to do what he does, will do more damage. The key for both is neutrolize the others fight.

I don't think Cotto has the desire, he has the skill, but he isn't great in training apparently. He may well have some hunger in there somewhere that would become apparent when he faces Hatton. Both of them have just been bullying outclassed opponents for most of their careers though, so it is hard to tell.

I think movement will be key for Cotto. If he can get out of Ricky's path when he comes forward, and land some combinations, he can win this fight. That being said, I think Hatton will win, looking at Miguels chin compared to Ricky's. Hatton by KO in the 10th

Abdulaev has a similar "pressure" fighting style. I know that abdulaev is no Hatton, but Cotto boxed him and was able to punish Abdulaev with great body shots and beautiful combinations.
