Two-time Olympic gold medalist Vasily “Hi-Tech” Lomachenko finishes his preparations for the upcoming professional debut on Oct. 12 at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, against 25-3 Mexican Jose Ramirez. The fight, scheduled for ten rounds, will be a final eliminator for the WBO featherweight title – an unprecedentedly ambitious move by a fighter with no professional fights whatsoever. The dream of Lomachenko is to become the first man in the history of prizefighting, who will win a world title in just two fights from the starters.
Yesterday Lomachenko finished his training camp in Los Angeles, where he had a good workout at CMC Pro Boxing Gym at Marina De Ray, CA, and today the entire team is heading for Las Vegas. Lomachenko's media open workout is scheduled on Monday at 1:30pm at Top Rank Boxing Gym in Vegas. [Click Here To Read More]
