Wlad/Floyd/Ward comparisons extremely unfair. This is why.

Floyd is a very small Welterweight with no physical advantages. He is not a power puncher and obviously have very little KO Power.

Ward is a average sized SMW with very little physical advantages... He is even less of a puncher than Floyd...

They fight the way they do to best use the assets given to them.

A much better comparison will be if

6'2 Tommy Hearns fought Roberto Duran the way Wladimir did Povetkin. Hearns is a massive Welter with brutal KO Power.. he held ALL the physical advantages and he FOUGHT just like he did.


If Wladimir was a 6'1 Heavyweight with Chris Byrd power.. I don't think anyone will even complain once about the way he fight.


I don't understand how people fail to realize it's not even remotely close to the same thing because Floyd/Ward don't have anywhere near the advantages Wlad does.

Ward have very little power..... this is a known fact. You want Ward to fight like GGG? He can't... his fists is not capable of this. WLAD meanwhile CAN fight like Lewis-Golota every single time out against today's opposition.. he don't.. How can you not tell the difference?

He uses his size/assets to his advantage, just like Ward and Floyd use their speed to their advantage for example. If Floyd was 6'6, 245 he and anyone else would do the same thing. Deal with it.
