Bum ass ref thread

Watching Louis Pabon yesterday reminded me of the many nights I saw a fight get ruined by a bum ass piece of **** ref. Feel free to share stories of other bum ass refs or bump this thread to point out another bum ref while a fights in progress

Joe Cortez is in the boxing hall of fame! What a joke, the HOF is a disgrace honestly. One of the judges who messed up the Chavez fight was in it as well. It is way to easy to get into the HOF, they care more about appearances and popularity. Not to offend anyone, but Gatti does not deserve to be anywhere near the hall of fame. He is a B-/C level fighter, and if this was any other sports hall of fame, he would not come close.

Pabon was also the ref for Klit-Mormeck another fine example of Wlad the rodeo.

That reminds me of the bum in Canada who saved Bute from Andrade in the first fight. I can't think of his name.

There are some awful ref and judges for that matter in boxing. But to be fair to some of these refs, it's a lot easier to remember the times they ****ed a fight up then all the fights they've done a good job officiating. It's really no excuse it's a job that requires your full attention and should be taken seriously. Good example is Cortez. I'm not a fan he ****ed up some big fights before. But he did a great job with JMM Pacquiao I. Some lesser experienced refs may have stopped the fight prematurely because of the 3 kd's in the first round and robbed Marquez of a chance to get back in the fight and would've robbed us fans of a great fight.
Back to these ****ty refs though. Pabon isn't that good. He did a awful job yesterday. The **** he let Vlad get away with was inexcusable. He also did a very poor job with Khabib vs Guzman. He didn't give Khabib credit for a kd he clearly scored and you could make the case for a 2nd kd he should've got in that fight. One of them wasn't as clear because it kind if looked like a push or their feet were tripped up and it was ruled a slip or something. I can't remember exactly but I do remember that in of them was clear as day.
