There's a good chance that Alexander will make him hit da booty dew....Khan is trying to be Mr Technical but it's just not working it takes 10+ years to master that craft....Roach gets the best out of fighters....Khan is what he is, a very good ambush fighter, Virgil Hunter is confusing him honestly he looks like a deer in headlights. It's only a matter of time until he hits da booty dew again and then he'll blame it on Hunter..

There is nothing wrong with Khan's offense and Roach is an offensive trainer, he needed a defense minded trainer and would batter Alexander.

Khan is what he is foo. Roach simply had him work on what he's best at. He's a very fast ambush fighter. He did really well under Roach and just needed some extra defensive work. Hunter is a clueless buffoon who's fighters usually regress under him....apart from Ward every fighter under him looks like a deer in headlights, notably Berto...''Show me how great you are Andre''. Roach is overrated but he's good at maximising what fighters have...Khan blames everyone but himself, it's not Roach's fault Angel got in Khan's head, he should have blamed himself but typical Khan can never accept his faults

The Garcia fight showed why he had to leave Roach. The tactics for that fight were abysmal. He was up against a guy whose main threat to him was counter-punches, and yet he tried to obliterate him by fighting ridiculously aggressively (making it far more likely to get caught by counter-punches).

Not only was that poor tactics, it showed a complete lack of respect for his opponent. Amateurish preparation and it's no surprise he wanted to change his coach afterwards.

That's his fault not Roach's. Roach told him not to be too aggressive but he couldn't resist. He underestimated Garcia not Roach.

That's what Roach said afterwards, but that doesn't add up to much when he went out from the first bell fighting recklessly. It also doesn't explain why Khan immediately dropped him and went for a trainer who could improve his defence.

Even if you want to make this argument (which can only be a guess because nobody knows what Khan decided himself and what Roach told him to do), part of being a trainer is man-management and if your fighter is basically ignoring everything you say then there's no point in you being there.
