O2 Arena (Millenium Dome), Greenwich, London - For the WBA super bantamweight title, a battle of unbeatens saw Scott Quigg (26-0-2, 19KOs) and Yoandris Salinas (20-0-1, 13KOs) fought to a twelve round majority draw. The scores were 114-114, 115-113 and 114-114.
Salinas controlled the action with his boxing ability but Quigg started pushing the tempo as the rounds played out and rallied hard in the final quarter as Salinas' nose was damaged.
