I was really shocked at how he fought, borderline disgusted. But it occurred to me he didn't look his usual self and was at his lowest since 2009, plus he is now 37. Did he cut too much weight?
Did Wladimir cut too much weight?

I don't know if that's due to weight loss, but he didn't look this bad for the very long time. His fatigue wasn't on the right level.
Also two styles just don't gel... Povetkin was trying to get inside but slipping Wlad's jab and bending down. -

I think it was excessive and the ref should've taken a point earlier but I hear what you're saying too. I hate how Wlad's HBO fights keep going sour but it's not meant to be. Any opponent they're interested in is good enough for Wlad to spoil or good enough to spoil Wlad lol.Comment

I thought Povetkin was real game. Surprised me. Take my hat off because I thought he'd be crucified.
I noticed Wladimir wasn't as bulky. Then after a few rounds, I was like.. WTF? Far too much of this leaning shit.Comment

Correct, the Klitschkos actually bulk up in camp not "cut weight". They are well known to be the only fighters who add muscle and GAIN WEIGHT in camp. Wlad looked extremely thin and un-muscular to me compared to his last fight where his biceps looked gigantic. They looked tiny in this fight to me by comparison so it seemed like he didn't bulk up as much for this fight which ofcourse was assumed by most people to be a strategy to keep more speed but I'm not sure if it affected him adversely perhapsComment
