It's not even close to the same thing, Ward fights inside.

Like I said in the master thread, you could have at least used an actual ugly fight for Ward, like Kessler or Bika. Froch had less clinching than any fight Ward's had recently other than Dawson.

Ward actually fights on the inside, Wlad has no intention of fighting.

Ward doesn't throw his opponent around the ring, hit them with elbows or pull down on their neck either.

Wlad also wasn't totally to blame - Povetkin came in close and low and Wlad already had the height advantage. Plus, you generally do what you can get away with and the ref allowed 95% of it so why stop?

I don't like the way Wlad fights but he won, and his opponents should be prepared for the way he fights before stepping in the ring with him.

Ward doesn't push his opponents head down and jump on his back 20 times a round or get his opponent in an headlock and punch him.

It's completely different. Ward clinches AND butts potentially dangerous inside fighters into submission.
