I meant to quote the guy who said that Haye did better against Wlad than Povetkin.
    Sorry about confusion.

Disgusting and a huge insult to the profession. Povetkin should've punched him square in the nuts for that bullsht but credit to him for not even complaining to the ref about it. How much of a sissy is Wlad that he had a height, experience, weight, and reach advantage and won the fight pressing his fighter down and shoving forearms into his face. I can credit one legitimate knockdown though and that's about it...when the HBO announcers are bashing their cash cow fighter you know it was a stinker. Do not let Wlad keep fighting in europe bring his azz here and put a veteran ref in the ring to handle the fighters. I'm ok with tactics in moderation but this was blatantly a dirty fight start to finish.

What, is there an echo chamer in here with everyone jumping on the hate bandwagon? I haven't seen the fight yet but I bet it wasn't nearly as bad as these hysterical comments suggest.

Credit to Wlad for going into the lion's dan and getting another victory.

Because it wasn't a scrap it was the bigger man trying to showcase his MMA skills and nothing more..hands down one of the dirtiest heavyweight fights i've ever seen. The Ukraine might as well consider Wlad a contender for Olympic wrestling at this point.

"The big fuss" it's about keeping the heavyweight division dead, as long as Wlad is fighting in the Cremwustland (with this negligible exception which was in Moscow)

Most his fights are show on non ppv for HBO which means they pay one flat fee and get to show it for years to come...there is money in longer term content instead of one off's. Even if it does 700k in viewers it's still averaging more viewers than 80% of HBO's premium content that often costs them upwards of 120 million bucks a season to produce.

The fight ****** ass, as usual Wladimir protecting his glass chin its very shameful. This is boxing u have to be able take couple shots, he is so gun shy he don't wanna get hit not once. If Wladimir tried to be agressive few clean shots would've got him outta there. After Sanders and Brewster losses Vovka was never the same.
