Kevin Mitchell admits Darren Barker has inspired him to start his own journey to a world title on Saturday night.
Mitchell watched his stablemate Barker win the IBF middleweight title in August and he can take a step closer to big name bouts with a win over Marco Lopez at London's 02 Arena, live on Sky Sports.
The Dagenham fighter failed to dethrone WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns last year, but believes he is a few wins away from getting back to the top level.
Mitchell, who trains alongside Barker at Tony Sims' gym, told skysports.com: "It definitely gives you an incentive. It shows you what you can actually do.
