Escobedo was competitive until hurt and hitting the jab with accuracy. Rees was very competitive until hurt. I can't remember the name of the fighter who was nailing Broner with right hands against the ropes all 3 rounds until he got hurt. Ponce arguably won. It was a common theme, Broner's size and power won him fights at lower weights as much as his skills.

Broner's defense has never looked that good, again except for DeMarco.
Thats not true. Broner stood flatfooted against Gavin and he overwhelmed him with combinations. So Broner started timing him coming in. He did the same thing to Ponce. As far as Demarco, thats the first fight where Broner started to catch punches. He normally slips.

I give Broner props for Pounce and DeMarco, and that's really it..I could have named over three fights I'd rather have seen then the Paulie fight as well..
Isnt Vasquez a tr fighter? Im not biased for Broner I said Paulie was a bum. But Broner jumped two weight classes to fight him, and he can have that cherry. But luckily he didnt go up to fight a full fledge welter. He would need time for his body to mature in the class, and that fight prepared him for what he is going to do to a flatfooted slow, no power, Madaina. We know Marcos is a bum and cant take body shots. I expect a show by Broner.

Bro Im not biased for Broner. Paulie is a bum. But Based on that list Broner fought the best in Demarco. And its not like Im saying Demarco is a very skilled fighter, but he was the best at the time Broner fought him.

Besides the rankings listed above, Uchiyama was the best at 130, where Broner's best win was Ponce.

I just realized that based on that list Paulie was the best at the time Broner fought him. But I dont care about those list, Paulie is a bum, and not better than Ortiz, Bradley, or Devon. Because he's washed up
