Of the two mentioned, one guy is in a wheel chair and the other is laid up recovering from injuries. It amazes me how may fans criticize Floyd for what has happen in others careers when clearly if they were all that, they would have been viable option now like a Cotto or Mosley once were. No disrespect to those fighters, but Floyd may have made 100 mil his last fight, and is still the kingpin at 147 and now 154. That doesn't happen fighting scrub after scrub.

Floyd hasn't fought scrubs, and I actually was happy to see him fight Mosely, Cotto, Judah, De La Hoya, Hatton. I just don't see this problem for Floyd if he is the guy exposing Cotto's flaws, or Paul Williams, or Sergio, or Manny. The point is much of the boxing public (people like me who have never sparred a single round) want fights at the peak. Would anyone wanted to see a Leonard fight a 36 year old Hagler if he already be exposed in recent fights? I purchase the Floyd fights. As much I complain he is the man. Fact remains people feel he avoids fights. That may or may not be the case, but it is the undeniable perception. We can't expect Floyd to fight EVERYONE. He has the right to choose his opponents. Pac fight has lost its appeal. How great would have it been for Floyd if he took the Pac fight when EVERYONE wanted it? Floyd starching Manny would have been amazing! Floyd has been up to 154 so make a fight with Sergio at 154 or Golovkin at 154. Thurman at 147, Khan, Bradley, Alexander... insert your own choice.

As much as some of Floyd's fans might want to erase the avoidance of fighting the best from Floyd's legacy, they can't.

And when Floyd is judged in the future this avoidance to fight the best will be taking into consideration.
