Has Mayweather ever fought anyone with a longer reach?

I think one of Mayweathers (if not biggest asset) is his reach advantage over his opponents. Most people see/think his speed and footwork are the biggest but Floyd has an uncanny ability to keep people at the end of his punches which helps his D...

Dela Hoya is the only person I can think of right now.

He is very rangy for his size, average reach is suppose to be equal to ones height Floyd is 5'8" or 68 inches tall his reach is 72 inches that is quite a bit above average. Plus he knows how to use it and shorten up his shots so that long reach is not working against him at close range.

Zab has an equal reach to Floyd so does Sharmba Mitchell

Thats why ****m Richardson pointed this out too that May avoided Margarito and Paul Williams. Dudes taller than him and withh longer reach.
But yea May uses the pot **** right with perfection. He always keeps that other hand on tthe boxers head to push em back and grt a feel of where they at then BAM lands his signature shot

I agree. A fighter with a longer reach would force him to fight on the inside more IMO.

Margarito and Paul Williams didn't really use their reach at all though, so while they did have that advantage they never really exploited it. It was one of the really annoying things about Williams actually dude just never fought tall despite being so tall and lanky, he was good on the inside but if he could have mixed that with actually fighting tall he could have been so much more as a fighter.

I'm not sure if Genaro Hernandez had the longer reach, but he is a very rangy fighter who possibly had a reach advantage

Supposedly, Mosley had a longer reach but he doesn't use it correctly. His reach has been listed at 74 inches. Corrales had a long reach too!

Nope. Only fighters with longer snakes.
