Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza Will Returns on October 26th in Cidra

Undefeated USBA super featherweight champion Jose "The Sniper" Pedraza (14-0, 9KOs) will return on October 26th in Cidra, Puerto Rico. The opponent is unknown but his co-promoter, Javier Bustillo of Universal Promotions, mentioned two possible names - Colombian Jean Javier Sotelo and David Huerta of Mexico. Pedraza, 24-years-old, has seen action three times in 2013. He stopped Gerardo Zayas in the first round in February and then returned in June to knock out Sergio Villanueva in seven rounds. He came back two months later, in August, and won a ten round unanimous decision over Gabriel Tolmajyan.

Pedraza doesn't impress me much. They are trying to build him up but he gets hit too much for the opposition he is facing.

He gets hit too much?? I dont know which fights have you been watching but given how aggresive he has been in his fight I would say he has barely great. You need to understand that Pedraza is learning the ins and outs of Professional boxing. He ain't trying to impress the public by beating up C-/D-level competition. When the time comes you will realize that Pedraza is not a hype job and that he actually is a future star of the Sport.
