Amen. Do these guys think we're that ******?/ A couple days ago they were saying Judah was gonna fight Devon in december. What happened was that they saw the blowback of a proposed Khan/Floyd fight and changed tunes.

I have to agree! The negativity for a Floyd/Khan fight was not good and it showed on a lot of boxing forums. Khan struggled with a washed up Diaz who would get destroyed by the top 10 welterweights. With Khan's chin he has to be matched perfectly... Thurman, Lucas, Garcia, Ortiz, or any puncher around that division will have like a 90% chance of stopping him.

I don't know about all of that. Even still, if Khan has a Floyd fight on the table, it makes no sense to take a REAL fight in the interim. I'll enjoy it and applaud it. But it doesn't make it any less ******.

It would be more ****** to take a risk than not to for a fragile fighter like Khan.

The statement reads: "Team Khan would like to dispel recent reports that Amir Khan has pulled out of a potential match-up against Devon Alexander on December 7, taking up a fight against Floyd Mayweather in May of next year instead."

Thus: Khan doesn't pull out from a "potential fight" he did not signed for yet. And that "potential fight" should happen over 8 weeks...
