His dad should just tell him to get out of the sport of boxing plain and simple. Chavez jr is a disgrace to the sport AND to his father. Of course daddy will always be in denial that his son just sucks. He's beaten tomato cans for a living while getting gift decisions (Zbik,Vera). Then he gets his ass handed to him by his first worthy opponent. Now, he can change contracted weights 3 times because his fast ass can't train hard enough to lose the extra baggage. Why does this **** head always get pampered by the promotion for his antics, and how the hell are their people who are "fans" of this guy? It baffles me

Martinez should have been a wake up call but I just don't think anything can get Chavez to be motivated anymore.

Sucks that I ever believed in him.

Jr. is dedicated, he's dedicated to smoking weed and getting laid. He doesn't have to worry about winning any fights against C level or B level fighters. Ole Bob will make sure he wins those fights with a little extra cash in their pockets.......

"Weight classes?...what weight classes? Here...have another 100K - just promise not to knock him out."

Would just love to see the little snot-nose climb in the ring with GGG at 200lbs, just so the brutality would last longer. He's an insult to hard working fighters everywhere.

Its a shame how jr turned out, kinda hurting that family name that his dad built. He needs a whole new camp and some serious motivation. Maybe Naazim Richardson. Somebody who won't settle for his BS.

I don't care anymore. In fact, I'm tired of hearing about him. He's nowhere near elite because of his attitude/drive. Reminds me a bit of Pavlik's antics at the decline of his career.

What a simple minded way of looking at boxing, every fight plays out different.
