Mayweather CONFIRMS Khan as Next Opponent

Yeah, he "lost" to Bradley alright. I count that as a win for Pacquiao regardless of the official result due to the corrupt ass judges. And if you mention Marquez/Pacquiao III , that fight was WAY closer than a lot of people think. And the fight with Rios is basically just a tune-up fight. Pacquiao is meant to beat a guy like Rios who's style is perfect for Pacquiao.

And it doesn't matter anyway, Pacquiao deserved to fight Mayweather for the past 5 years. Pacquiao is an elite fighter who's in the same weight class as Mayweather. He damn well has the right to be at the top of the list to face Floyd. But even now Floyd is saying he needs to join TMT Promotions for the fight. Why is he still so scared to face Pacquiao even after Pacquiao lost to Marquez?

Well, the Khan vs Peterson fight could have went either way, but it went to Peterson so there's no problem there. Khan lost in a very close fight, but still lost. I could see why you think JMM won the third fight, but that fight was really close as well.

This is all just a media/fan reaction test done by Team Mayweather. There's a scheme here that seems fairly obvious to me. 1). A month or two before making an official decision, put out an opponents name in the media and make it sound like it's a done deal. 2). Team Mayweather wages in on the interest/reactions/opinions of the media/fans, focusing in on who will help make the most money. "Devon Alexander is next", anyone?? Alexander still ISN'T next, there's no money OR interest in him.

As far as announcing it so quickly, people eventually forget the things that Team Mayweather said before officially announcing who he's fighting next, probably because they're so damn glad he's NOT fighting the one they originally said he was. A "whew" moment, if you will. And if there IS an interest/upside with money, they have nothing to lose by throwing someones name out there because they end up fighting him anyway.v It's a win-win situation for TM.

Common sense says - we all know that they (GBP/TM) always make an official announcement when it's a sealed deal and the papers are drawn up and signed. OR, FMJ tweets it himself on Twitter/Twatter. Right now, they're just looking to see if Mayweather/Khan is a fight people will pay PPV $$$ to see.
