How many PPV buys does Floyd vs. Khan do?

I say they do around 1 million domestically and another 500,000 or so in the UK to make it worth Floyd's time. I think it's pretty sad that Khan is going to duck Alexander to ensure he doesn't phuck up his opportunity for Floyd next spring. I also think they should do the fight in the UK at Wembley to give it a hook and to make the whole thing more of an event rather than just another fight at the MGM. Kind of like when Pac fought Clottey at Cowboys Stadium. The fact that it was at the new Stadium was the real hook for that fight. Floyd going to England would be the hook here...and if indeed this were to happen, they'd probably have Canelo fight at his own venue on the undercard to bring in the Mexican audience, and if Canelo opted not to do that, they'd be smart to let Canelo fight Cotto on Cinco De Mayo and just make a date in April for the Mayweather vs. Khan fight.

    Thoughts?

amir khans wikipedia has 5/3/14 slated at mgm grand for him to fight money may

anyway, speed vs speed? sounds fun to the technicalists but kinda boring to me

mayweather prob goes for the ko, just to look spectacular, nd does so in the 8th
if a jouneyman'll knock khan down, may will knock him out

nd around this time danny fights a 147 lber, like malignaggi at barclays maybe? to tune up for floyd in september

Not many unless Khan's coming off a sensational win against a top opponent (which he won't be).

Most will realise the result is even more predetermined than the usual expectation of Mayweather to win, so I can't see a huge demand.

espinoza deserves to get fired if he allows this fight to go through unless khan defeats someone credible first.

This would set showtime boxing back it makes them look desperate and small time.

They might as well calll themselves GBP-TV.

All of that sounds pretty logical. I'm thinking they'd put Garcia vs. Paulie or Garcia vs. Alexander on the undercard to help sell the PPV and to build up Garcia vs. Floyd in September assuming he won.

Floyd vs. Khan at the MGM will be a tough sell though unless they could get Canelo vs. Cotto to do a co-headlining gig at another venue or something.

That said, I'll buy all of Floyd's fights until he retires, but this fight at the MGM would be a farce no matter how they'd tried to spin it. I hope this is all BS but I'm starting to believe the rumors.

                  .9-1.5 million

It really depends on how many Europeans buy the fight. It should be on 4th of July (Britain v. US).
