Personally, I think the fights these two have coming up will go farther to tell what the potential fight would be like. Pac's mental state and physical state may or may not be fully expressed in the fight with Rios but there should be tell-tale signs in his behavior and tactics and overall physicality that tell us where he is at after such a concussive KO.

In Broner, we may have the ultimate answer as to his ability to take big punches to the body and head if the Maidana fight goes mid to late. The way Pac and Broner hold up and the outcome of their two fights will leave us with a better understanding of where they are. But its a great matchup potentially and makes a lot of sense for both guys; one can get the title and the other would make more than he has ever made.

I see this as an easy lock of a fight to make for so many reasons. If they both win their next fights and look good, I see Pac getting a late stoppage. If Pac has aged or the KO loss affected him, Broner could win. But if Reese could land the left hand at will, so can Pac and if Pac rushes in, he could get countered by Broner and caught. Anything is possible in Boxing. Cant base anything off of the Pauli fight because the sharp contrast in styles between Pac and Pauli.

didn't you get a similar thread deleted this morning?

I don't know how beating Broner reflects on a floyd fight because they don't fight similiarly.

I think it would be a good fight, manny likely wins. But maybe Broner catches him at the right time.

at this point in time I really think broner can take him.

Broner hasnt proven himself against the elite obviously but Im banking on the fact I dont think Pac will ever be the same after his KO

Broner and floyd dont fight the same at all if people would pay attention.

The only things that are similar are that they are black, arrogant and use the shoulder roll

              Sorry but this is ludicrous.

Broner and clottey dont fight the same nor do they have the same defense. That fight wouldnt look anything like that

Just throw a right hand Broner and you can tuck Pac in before the lights go out!

                    This is it.

As long as Pacquiao isn't shot he'll beat Broner any day of the week. Footwork will be the key.
