I'm worried that Broner might do the 'Booty Dew' against Maidana

Broner doesn't get hit on the head much, and I don't expect him to against against a slugger like Maidana.

There are two conceivable ways Maidana can win this fight:

(1) Body attack
(2) Sheer activity

and even if he wins over 12 (which I doubt) he isn't getting the decision with the Haymon judges.

Put your money on Broner.

All you do nowadays is blame haymon judges and the ref before the fight even happens. whats up with you?

Each fight is a different fight. Some fans get caught up with a fighter that they like, and when asked who beats who, they bring up a guys bad performance and compare it to the fighter that they like who gave a good performance and won.

Broner knows that Maidana can punch if you let him punch. Power is overrated in boxing. You need skills to win also. Broner knows the danger involved. Hate him or love him, he comes to fight. He has the style to take Maidana apart.

Bingo! Yesterday on the Maidana thread two guys got all butthurt when I said the same thing. They cant stand the fact that I picked up on how Broner's style resembles Berto and the many similarities. Same body type, heavy upper body, leans back, haunches over, crosses his arms, wide stance, slow footwork, similar lead rights, shoulder roll, they way he steps forward. Berto 2.0 with a slightly better defense although we have not seen how that defense works against the very best. Gavin Reese and Pauli showed it is not a special defense. He'll need a solid chin against Maidana and if he passes that test, then his image in the ring can be upgraded, even if he has zero class outside the ring.

Exactly. The Maidana I've seen fight has no chance to avoid or minimize the punches Paulie could. Broner has a history of not exceeding pre fight expectations so I will avoid predicting something spectacular.

I could be wrong But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana takes a real beating.

Maidana has improved a lot and looks even more powerful at 147....Broner has a small head which is a very bad sign for a boxers as the fighters with small heads usually have poor punch resistance....both of these guys are fighters I like and Broner is funny as hell but I think he might dance in this one..

I'm not sure he's likey to do that to Broner either. A Broner who's much more evasive.

I don't much care for Broner and his antics but he is undeniably a skilled boxer with a whole lot of amateur experience and should pretty easily outbox Maidana the only thing Maidana has and I respect it a whole lot is toughness but unfortunately that does not go to far towards outboxing someone I could be wrong I hope I am wrong but really I think it won't even be close
