Canelo seems like a genuine guy, but he can never be the future of the sport. He looked so bad against Mayweather, worse than Guerrero, and you really couldn't take anything away from that fight that would suggest that he has a bright future.

For those who think Canelo is only doing this for increased ppv sells, think again. These people that he has helped wouldn't even have cable tv-they are poor. 3rd world country poor. This is how screwed our society has gotten-if you do a good deed,then people raise their eyebrows or are su****ious.

The man is putting in work and helping those who need it-despite whether you believe it is self motivated or not. In the meantime, you guys sit on your ass and critique those who have actually volunteered or helped others....smh

Thank you!!! It's so funny to see that people hate someone because they portray themselves a certain way. He wouldn't of made the kind of money that he is making if he had the nice guy persona. His behavior is totally for the cameras. Millions of people will buy PPV to see him win and millions will buy PPV to see him lose. He is attracting his haters and making money off of them. Even if you don't buy PPV, you still make him money by sparking some sort of interest, positive or negative. Mayweather is very giving and a nice guy, but most of us will not see it until well after he retires and no longer wants or needs the spotlight.
