Why is Wlad more aggressive nowadays?

I really enjoy watching Wlad when he turns up the pace and becomes more aggressive and letting his hands go a lot more. When Steward left earth last year I wondered how that would affect Wlad. In his first fight without Steward he was more aggressive than usual. He didn't stop Wach but he was clearly looking for the KO and landing bombs after bombs. All credit to Wach...dude's chin is made of iron. Wlad fought the same aggressive way in his last fight and totally crushed Pianeta.

I like this aggressive version of Wlad and hope he continues to fight like this. If he does go for the KO against Povetkin he should stop him easily in the early rounds. When he fights like this he's a f_ucking beast

At this stage of his career I didn't expect Wlad to go back to the early more aggressive version of himself....so why the sudden change?

His confidence is at a different level these days. It might be interesting to see how he approaches someone with really good pop and the ability to land something.

True! "IF" Wilder turns out to be the real deal it would be interesting to see how Wlad would fight a big puncher like Wilder.

he's not half as aggressive as he was years ago before the disasters.

            Wald is aggressive

He's nothing compare to who he used to be. With the HW division being so weak, he should go back to his old way of nothing but just pure offense...he had the best left hook that I've ever seen from a heavyweight.

He's putting down his foot for the remainder of his career to make a statement to be written in stone.

He is. But he's not exactly the same fighter, either. Wlad has improved continously in all departments during the last decade.

Absolutely! In his last two fights he's been very aggressive, you can't deny that.
