he's not clean, though. there's just no way. he's got the history / background. steroids are what he does. add in marquez superhuman transformation in the latter part of his 30's, you've got to at least entertain the possibility that he's on drugs.
he looks like he man. what on earth is going on here?
Guys welcome to new world of training fighters , today they are trained and monitored like a million dollar racehorse .
Since boxing began they quickly figured out that its a big advantage to be the bigger man in a fight ; in comes training to be as big as you can be in the lowest weight class you can make .
Take Manny for instance he was weighing 145 fight weight with a 129 weigh-in ; now look at Manny weighing 145 with a 147 weigh-in ; compare specificity the muscle mass and its fullness , both instances he weighes close to 145 , only difference is no need to drying out, so effectively he can train at a higher weight all the way through camp .
When you train to make weight you lower you muscle mass ; following drying out to make weight , you replace the water to weigh the same , but with less mass .
In this is area , boxing is changing ; they are finding out that its better to be at your natural weight while training and fighting without much of a drying out process , the result is a much more powerful explosive body , better recuperation , lots of benefits and nutrition is key .
This is why these strength trainers work ; we have seen it with Manny , Floyd , Bradley , Marquez ; lots of guys are now moving up a division and fighting more at their true natural bodyweight as there is lots of benefits .
And it will show in more and more fighters as time goes by , just like it is now with JMM ; no silver bullets or peds , just proper scientific training in the 20th century , not the stick figures produced by the old ways of boxing training like so many fighters appear .Last edited by Reloaded; 10-01-2013, 09:03 PM.

It couldn't be the 2-3 tough training sessions totaling 4-7 hours per day for 6 days per week after 6 complete weeks of training combined with this being his 4th fight at Welterweight, 3rd fight doing plyometrics, circuit and weight training in place of long distance running, and an expert-assisted healthy diet that got him into excellent shape... it had to be the PEDs.
Let's disregard the fact that he stunned and/or hurt Pacquiao in the 1st and 2nd fight and pretty much every opponent he's faced thus far except for Mayweather (a faster defensive genius w/ a size advantage) or that he hit Manny with a perfect counter punch that he specifically trained to use before the 4th Pacquiao fight with video of him knocking out a sparring partner using the same punch... and blame that **** on PEDs.
I'm surprised *******s haven't made a video linking Marquez to the Illuminati...
Nothing but the truth in this post. These people are convinced that Marquez is a cheater and don't want to hear any other argument, despite the fact they have no proof or evidence. The same people who didn't say a peep when Manny Pacquiao was destroying much bigger men and blazing through weight classes. Marquez has always been one of the most dedicated fighters when it comes to training ; he does it year round, leads a clean life, and is always open to new training methods and exercises. He's one of the few boxers who is actually exploring newer training routines to develop more power, strength, and speed instead of going by the outdated boxing regimes from a hundred years ago. With all that said, him KO'ing Pacquiao had nothing to do with strength, it was a textbook move from a master boxer.
