I'm in tune with this being prize fighting,so naturally everybody wants to try to make as much money as possible for themselves, but this fight is beyond useless.First, Chavez fan base has seemed to taper off,he only had 5,ooo fans show up for the Vera fight.Secondly,Ward is already making way more money than he should be for fighting the likes of Rodriguez. If Ward can't land the Golovkin bout, than he should move up.

Rodriguez swings too wide for Ward... Andre now he's in, then he's out... Ward would fight from the inside if he doesn't like how things go... Ward always wins from the inside...

I don't think Rodriguez is going to be able to land on Ward without getting precisely nailed in the process.

          I haveta agree with this^

It's Wards fight to take, but La Bomba is no-ones walkover. If I had to choose a most similar opponent it'd probably be Kessler. This ain't no easy tune-up, Ward should be able to take it, but after a big lay-off, 'Dre will have to keep his wits about him.

Edwin will be coming in hungry as well, he's positioned to make a run at the top names, and even a well fought loss would raise his stock. I'm happy as hell HBO wouldn't go for a truax or suchlike. This could be a fight.

Do you know who Denis Grachev is? He knocked out Ismayl Sillakh, beat Zsolt Erdei, and gave Lucian Bute hell for 12 rounds.

Well Edwin Rodriguez destroyed Denis Grachev in 1. And he went over to Europe to do it. Shouldn't you give him a little respect for that?

After all you're the one always complaining about how Andre Ward won't fight outside of Oakland or the US. So here when an American guy does go overseas and gets an impressive win you still won't give credit?

That just lets everyone know not to take you seriously from now on.

It's not, Edwin is not a walk in the park he can fight! Of course we know Andre is one of the best but will Andre get tested like he never have before because of the lay off? We don't know, we will have to see come fight night. Thats the selling point to this fight.

Rodriguez is one of the very few fighters that was seriously calling for a Ward fight. Also Ronnie Shields is a very good trainer

                  Ward is nullifying opponents.
Ward will win easily, after a boring fight.
Ward is literally great in what he does.

Yeah, he's a top 10 SMW. Froch sparred with Rodriguez and says he better than Abraham. This is a solid comeback fight.

You may be right, but honestly, you are just speaking to the greatness of Ward when calling La Bomba a tune-up. An undefeated super middleweight contender who is ranked #6 by the Transnational Boxing Ratings and #7 by the Ring in the weight class.
