    Is Junior Middleweight heating up?

I think the 154 pound division has the potential to be a great division in the future. There are plenty of fights to be made. Canelo could have a big money fight with Cotto if he beats Rodriguez, and Lara could fight Trout. This sets up Canelo-Lara, with the winner fighting Mayweather. So, either Canelo gets a rematch with Mayweather, or Lara, with wins over Canelo and Trout, gets a shot at him.

Floyd's not fighting Lara. I would love to see him vs a bigger southpaw whos a natural boxer but its not happening. All we got is Lara vs Trout if it can get done then Lara vs Nelo.

            154 is crazy

you got Lara who seems to be skilled but gets dropped 2 times by Angulo?the same Angulo Kirkland layed out,the same Kirkland who got beat up by Molina?and stopped in 1 round by Ishida? Then you got Trout who lost to Canelo who got toyed with by Floyd..but that same Trout beat up Cotto who lost to Floyd and is really undersized at 154 but uncomfortable at 147? 154 is full of goo but not great fighters,it is sort of a wasteland but can produce exciting fights(unless you get Molina-Smith)

Why would he fight Lara? guy barely has 20 fights and hasn't looked great at all recently

The number of fights is meaningless when talking about the Cuban fighters. Rigo has like 12 fights. I think he looked good vs Angulo despite getting dropped. Remember he wasn't allowed to rehydrate past 164 while Perro came in as a light heavyweight. And He's a better opponent then Khan.

He's so horrible to watch though. He's another Vanes to me. Nobody looks good in a fight vs them and both are boring as ****.
