I haven't seen very many change their tune at all, in fact most have doubled down as far as I can tell but not that that is unexpected no one should have been thinking this fight would really alter views like that.


For you in general I would say you don't have to like him, but you should have some respect for him because what he does in that ring is very difficult and he has worked very hard to achieve that level. He is a picture of when hard work meets natural talent. Now there is lots of stuff you don't have to respect about him but what he is when he steps through those ropes he does deserve respect IMO.

I can't have an ounce of respect for a man whose chosen "persona" degrades the sport I love......

He may not win how you want him to win but he dominates world class fighters the same way he does b and c level fighters. I would think that is something all boxing fans rrspect. The ones that don't like Maniac310 don't like boxing persay but specific boxers based on ethnicity or they like ko finishes or excitement. Which is fine.

Some guys drink the finest g**** in the world, some drink very exspensive vintages, and some drink riunite. There all wine drinkers. Some use glasses and some brown paper bags. Sometimes its in bottles, sometimes its in a box.

Mayweather is a very good fighter, but he robs boxing fans of good fights. Chooses to fight average fighters. Money is more important to him then legacy I guess.

Mayweather does everything good speed, power, movement ect. There are guys who are faster, more power, but nobody is a complete package. Still don't like his points fighting style.

Not everything.....integrity may not be highly rated amongst some in the boxing (sports in general) but he is certainly below average in that area.....
