Anyone who thinks Perez will walk through Spadafora is sadly mistaken. That is not happening. Although Paul may be past his prime age wise at 38, he is still as slick a fighter as he ever was, if not slicker. This fight is to get him a shot at Mayweather. The event is also being promoted by Golden Boy being Perez is signed to them. There is speculation that Golden Boy will be looking to bring Paul on with a victory in this fight and that they will use it to put Paul in line as one of Mayweather's next opponents. There isnt anyone in his weight class that would walk through him, he is as pure a boxer as there is, even to this day. His troubles outside the ring may have hurt him from a boxing fan perspective as far as recognition, as many fans weren't even aware he is still active but keep in mind that time outside the ring also means less wear and tear on the body. He hasn't taken the abuse of a 38 year old boxer who was active their entire career. And like I said he's as good as he's ever been wait until November 30th and we shall see. Paul Spadafora will whip this kid, even at 38 he is still fresh and can do damage at Junior Welterweight. He is incredibly slick and a smart fighter. If Floyd doesn't want to see someone else retire with a better record than him he better do something about it because Spaddy gonna be 49-0-1 and the new WBA super lightweight champion of the world come December baby!
