He charged PR for a fight and is burning up the prospects by moving them to fast and not developing them. Don't know how much he has over thereComment

God, that Cotto charging PPV for his fights is so ****** it's beyond measure
First, he headlined that card and put all his fighters on it. It's one of the only ways to recoup that investment.
Second, Cotto contributes mightily to the local economies with all the investments he has there.
Third, why would any self-respecting fan of Cotto be mad at a PPV in his home town when they've been stuck with terrible PPV cards featuring the likes of JuanMa...talk about being ass-****d. If they're mad at the one superstar we have left, but not mad at the killing Top Rank and other promo companies have made putting below average fighters on PPV, they should just walk in traffic.Comment

Cotto always fights for the PR flag PROUDLY. He fights your for Puerto Rico. I don't see how he can be hated for a decision that I'm 100% positive wasn't entirely his to make. Golden Boy was co-promoter, they wanted to make a profit.
Is the Rodriguez fight on PPV in PV? Were any of his TR fights on PPV in PR while they were on free HBO and Showtime here in the states? None of them were. That's not just coincidence.
Appreciate one of the last times you'll see one of the greatest fighters of this era in the ring.Comment
