Can Mayweather avoid Pacquiao for his next four fights?

Who do you mean by my guy?
If you mean Mayweather then I guess back before he was P4P number 1. I mean you can't really be an underdog if you're P4P number one.
If you're talking Garcia?
I'm thinking definitely against Matthysse a LOT of people were expecting him to lose. I think he deserves a break and maybe to warm up with a few fights maybe vs Broner?Comment

He just fought a guy that did very little and made millions in the process. Who wants to see another fight where there's very little activity going on, with the main guy that has no intention of knocking out his opponent? It's not entertaining.
The whole point of people still watching Mayweather is they are duped into believing his opponent actually have a chance of beating him.
Canelo is the last perceived theat to his zero because he's young and bigger. (Exactly why your guy demanded a catchweight.)
I don't think he will fight at 150+ again. That's why his next fight will bomb.Last edited by al-Xander; 09-30-2013, 05:18 AM.Comment

Problem is, it's not in Pac's nature to trash talk and be showing up at opponents gyms with announced challenges.
He does have a ghost-writer who can write challenges and threats for Manny
in the media.
Besides Manny himself doesn't even believe he can beat Floyd at his own game.
And there you have it.

The irony of all this is, people are trashing a potential Khan fight (myself included). But if he beats Devon Alexander, he'd have beaten a welterweight champion. When was the last time Pacquiao did that?
People complain that beating Berto got you a Mayweather fight but want to build a hype train on the tracks of beating Brandon Rios (has he even fought at 147lbs?) coming off a loss? For such a good fighter, people are setting some exceptionally low standards.Comment

Floyd has always been scared of challenging himself and a fair fight.
He was never scared of pacqioua per se, but scared of a 60/40 fight and losing his 0.
Now that Pac is fading and suffered a brutal KO from JMM, it is time that for floyd to fight, he has waited long enough and pac has fallen far enough to be an 80/20 fight in terms of the odds and one he should take regardless as their are no other threats at 147.
Floyd is p4p king but a boring fighter, he sells one sided sparring sessions that are closer to olympic style than pro boxing. floyd vs canleo should have gone 30 rounds no one was hurt.
Bring back the KO artists.Comment

How many more threads like this are we going to have to suffer through? They are both to blame but I don't see how you can say Floyd is ducking anybody based on the competition out there right now.Comment

You just made all that up.i'll fight pac if he agrees to 14 days...agreed
i'll fight pac if he agrees to 0 days.....agreed
i'll fight pac if he agrees to 0 percent ppv......not agreed duck!
if only pac agreed to floyd's demands before he changed his mind! so frustrating! it was just a coincidence that every time he agreed floyd changed his demands. what are the odds! "i can't fight pac because i have to worry about my health. i cherry pick fights." a guy who said these things certainly wants to fight the best....lol!
When Floyd asked for random testing pac wanted 24 days out and floyd wanted 14 and pac walked away.
A year later he said he would do 14 days out but floyd wanted to the day testing. Pac was scared to take the test man
I dont think Ive ever heard of a man getting so much praise for not taking a test, when in sports there are cheats all the time. smhLast edited by dynomyte1444; 09-30-2013, 11:29 AM.Comment
