Biased Commentary from Col. Bob Sheridan

Here in Australia we're unlucky enough to get commentary from Col. Bob Sheridan for every fight that is broadcast, which gets a bit tiring, but what was worse was his commentary of Chavez Jr vs Vera yesterday. I swear to god he could only see Chavez Jr in the ring, not even realising that Vera was throwing punches too. Vera would land a 4 punch combination and the commentators would be silent, then Chavez Jr would land one punch Sheridan would nearly give birth. Then the highlights between rounds would be all Chavez Jr with the Col. salivating, and when they showed some Vera highlights late in the fight it was completely silent. Did anyone else notice this?

Unfortunately here all fights are PPV, and this commentary is making me want to skip the PPV and download a proper (Showtime / HBO) version later.

I didn't realize this. I really sympathize with Australian boxing fans now. Sheridan is the worst commentator in all of sports. Every time he sounds like a drunken idiot sitting next to you at the bar.

Sheridan isn't half bad for the off-air undercards he's a quirky kinda guy more comical than anything but for a maincard not so much
