I was watching the Mayweather-Burton fight this morning (Boxing on Saturday night always makes me want to watch more bouts on Sunday morning) and totally forgot about the Miguel Diaz story. In case you aren't familiar he was the cutman for Floyd and Diego "Chico" Corrales. He had to make a choice between the two when they got into the ring together and he chose Diego because he was given a co-trainer nod and a bigger share of the Diego's purse. Floyd respected the decision but told him if he went that route they could never work with each other again. After Floyd put on a virtuoso performance he ended up not working with either fighter. The amount of money this guy has missed out on over Floyd's career has to be close to a million if not more. It must cut deep.
