In an article from a few months back (i'll try to dig it out - something like 'Hughie Fury to fight 20 times by mid 2014) - he lets slip that his team is actually paying for a lot of these fights themselves - now I ain't sure whether this is standard practice, but to me it hardly seems to lend credibility to his record. I wonder if they pay them before or after they've lost?

The plan is for him to remain active and fight a better quality of journeymen during the next 6 months. The 7-1 boxer he defeated today was better than his previous opponents.

Hughie is very talented and has excellent potential. Considering he lacks amateur experience, however, they need to keep him active and be careful not to move him up too fast.

Hughie Fury is not going to take away Mike Tyson's mark as youngest heavyweight champ but he has genuine ability and the size to mix with today's big guys. Darch was a fair test at this stage and I like the way Hughie is being brought along.
