He won 6 at best, and only 2 clearly.

Although Chavez landed the harder blows, Vera was much busier and forced the action, so I think he deserved the decision and Chavez is a fat scumbag. I hope somebody knocks that lazy bastard out.Comment

Chavez is right when he says, "No rematch is necessary. I can't see him winning." The promoters and crooked judges would never, ever give a guy like Vera a decision over Jr. Just wasn't going to happen and won't happen in the future. And Vera doesn't have the power to knock him out, so the verdict is preordained. Time to accept the bs and let Jr move on to the easiest belt he can find at 168. He isn't fighting any of the division's big-boys anytime soon, if ever. I am guessing Bika or Kashtanov, neither of whom are big punchers so Jr gets the decision no matter whatLast edited by giacomino; 09-29-2013, 09:45 AM.Comment

My buddy was unable to watch the fight last night, so I ws texting him updates throughout the fight. And I texted right after the second round that this was gonna be a very tough fight to score and the loser will likely cry robbery. I don't score fight while I'm watching live. It takes away from the enjoyment. I'll go back and score it. And because of what I deem success in the ring, I'll likely favor Jr. That said, I would have no issues with a card scoring it for Vera. It was just that kinda fight.Comment
