Former champion Jonathan Victor Barros continues to climb backing in the rankings, as he knocked out Santos Sampiro in the second round in San Martin, Argentina. Barros won the vacant IBF Latino featherweight title and improved his professional record to 35-4-1, including 19 wins inside the distance. Sampiro has won 12 of his 18 fights, all inside the distance. Barros now makes it two wins in a row since suffering an eight round TKO defeat to Mikey Garcia last November in Las Vegas.
