You guys think if Rigondeaux were to move to Showtime they would put the spotlight on him? It just makes me sad to see a boxing genius like him being benched all thebtime. I wonder If Rigondeaux joined TMT would get the proper exposure to make him marketable for casual boxing fans.

Maybe the fact that his promoter and the network that is headlining him said they feeli like puking watching him fight ... Aside from that.. Not too shabby.

Nothing could make him marketable,his style and chin just aren't that good for casual fans.He is a difficult sell for even his 22-30 fans that he has.I just don't see it with this guy.


Please stop mentioning him with Mayweather too.He is nowhere near Mayweather.

Who cares? Nobody but a miniscule number of people on the internet even know what you're talking about. He's getting HBO dates and he's getting paid. What the hell is the problem? Why would he need to go to Showtime and change promoter?

I'm sure he does. That's why he fired back at hbo and arum. I'm sure he's not looking for a pat on the back (which he deserves) but for his "employers" to downgrade his ability in the way they did/do after making the product they were pushing obsolete... Can't be a good feeling. The grass probably is greener on the other side too (Showtime).
