Mega Plaza Norte, Lima, Peru - WBA interim junior flyweight world champion Alberto Rossel (31-8, 13 KOs) won a twelve round majority decision over Jose Alfredo Zuniga (11-5-1, 5 KOs) of MExico. The scores were 117-114, 117-117 and 116-113. Rossel, who in 2010 failed in his attempt to beat Hugo Cazares for the WBA super flyweight title, grabbed the interim belt in 2012. Zuniga was Rossel's fourth interim title clash.
