chavez jr did draw against martinez. that fight was a success. both guys made a ton of money, and they sold very well for first time ppv types.

he's not going to be taken seriously from now on, though. that weight stuff was ridiculous.

A bunch of morons thought it was Al Haymon driving HBO into the ground. Ironic to look back and see that Showtime has become the premier boxing network with Al Haymon while HBO now overpays for fights such as Chavez Jr. ($2.5M)-Vera and Ward-Roriguez(3.15M+). It is a culture of incompetence that runs rampant on HBO.

lol showtime being the premier network, they have nothing but floyd, yes they paid a tad over the top for chavez fight but his ratings used to be very good, lets see what happens first

hbo own boxing, now that floyd is done, hbo have so many exciting fights coming up to end the year, in fact until may

on top of that hbo are investing in europeana fighters which will see some exciting fights

seriously broner, khan and maidaina, nobody gives a crap anymore about them lol all showtime have is recycled fights

martinez, pacman, brdley, marquez, cotto, froch, klits, ward and so on, only haters who love floyd that they think having a go at hbo is backing him are making these silly threads

what is smart is losing 20 million on floyd vs guerrero, that was a smart business move lol

I think both networks have done some really good things this year. But the feud needs to stop and the matchup possibilities would be endless. I don't know why people are choosing sides between television networks and promotional companies. These greedy companies are only worried about $$$.

            greed?

it's capitalism, man. nobody pays their bills but them

there is no such thing as greed in america.
we are capitalists. it's called competition.

              if only man

              I would love to see

              Pac vs floyd
              bradley vs Floyd
              Garcia vs Pac
              Marquez vs Garcia

some seriously top fights to be made, to be fair if the networks pay big money, the fight can be made, seriously if showtime guarantee say floyd and manny 50m, then the fight gets made imo

if they guarantee garcia like 3m and marquez like 5-8m, then again it gets made
