Let's be fair. Chavez was coming off serious inactivity, lack of training, fitness and muscle.

He didn't throw a SINGLE combo and his body attack (see Andy Lee fight) was absent.

I still favor Froch, but to judge this version of Chavez is ******.

Good point, but if this version of Chavez shows up against Froch he'll make Carl look like Mayweather.

Froch isn't motivated by easy fights and he doesn't seem overly enamoured with the money either. He's never once mentioned Chavez's name.

Still want to see this fight. I think it would be a war. Two iron-chinned mfers who like to mix it up. Chavez will outweigh from by 30 on the day of the fight. Let's have it in the UK!!

My thoughts exactly. I've been wanting to see that fight for years. We all knew Chavez JR would eventually grow out of the middleweight division and now he DESERVES a beatdown for disrespecting boxing by not making the original weight and worse - screaming at the referee after the fight for borderline blows not being called. Clear actions of a spoiled brat looking for something to blame.

Plenty of fighters would give JR a beatdown but Froch would make it fun!
