as much has i hate the idea of floyd vs. khan OR alexander, if they fight and the winner gets floyd so be it. but if the fight doesn't even happen and floyd fights one of them it will be a joke.

garcia deserves a shot. jmm/bradley winner deserves it. pacquiao/rios winner. i know those are top rank fights but i'm just naming names. i would also support mayweather vs. cotto II, lara, thurman or broner/maidana winner.

but khan coming off his last fight and not even proving himself at welterweight, i can't do it.

The crying has begun. Shutup, you know this fight isn't happening unless Khan gets a belt.

Yeah this is something I would expect from Top Rank if the plan is to really shelve Khan in the hopes that a money fight isn't blown. Khan or Alexander aren't beating him, but Khan will move more PPV's. Bleh, I wouldn't buy either fight so doesn't make me a difference for me.

Don't remember this happening to Bradley before getting a shot at Pacquiao tough:

Bradley was #1 at 140 and considered at Top 10 P4P fighter by most going into the fight with Pacquiao, he wasn't some guy who career is going downhill look to cash himself out against Pacquiao

Khan vs Mayweather will be another rip off. It will go down as the worse matchup in boxing history.

its like ppl have to find things to be upset about. floyd isnt fighting khan next. i dont even remember the last time he fought a guy coming off such weak showings as khan in his last few fights. wont happen. and hes pretty much stated this to be the case word for word. im not sure why ppl are crying already about it. but thats boxing fans for u.

You really think Khan is gonna risk doing the Booty Dew against Alexander? If Alexander makes him twerk his chances are finished.

Small followings but better challenges for Floyd then khan. Also why does Showtime need to ensure they don't lose money with Floyd??? He's the best, the greatest, why does he need opponents with huge fan bases to sell??? He can't do it alone??? Must not be as big of a draw I guess. Majority of People tune into see him lose. That's the reality.
Yes, to a certain extent, we are going by who has the biggest following. That said, we both agree that is Khan. Garcia would be a good fight...Lara would not. To even suggest Lara at 154 means that you're simply thinking of names and throwing them out.

Mayweather/ Showtime putting the Garcia v. Matthysee match on the PPV meant that, eventually, he would fight the winner. This, essentially, puts Garcia on Mayweather's PPV schedule. If need be, he can fight a lesser champion at 147 to pick up a meaningless belt OR we can see a Hatton situation where he is labeled as a champion going into the fight...just champion at 140. THE champion at 140, btw.

Showtime is a for-profit business trying to takeover the boxing game using Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the queen piece (chess). There was an expectation that Showtime would possibly take losses with the deal but they were considering the long term possibilities. OF COURSE, they would like to make profits immediately and that, if everything that's been released holds true, comes with around a million pay-per-view buys.

I'm going to refrain from calling you ****** for questioning him as a draw because he can't sell a million pay-per-views himself and ask you these questions so you can possibly understand why what you're saying is silly: how many times did Roy Jones Jr. sell a million PPVs? How many times did De La Hoya? How many times did Pacquiao? How many times have non-heavyweights EVER sold a million PPVs and who was the A/ B sides?

Khan would be a great NAME for his next PPV even though everyone and their mother knows he has little chance.

Garcia didn't even look like he put that much on that hook.... I love the look on Khan's face after he went down like a rag doll.....had an expression that said ''Oh for f***s sake not again!!! How many times am I gonna be dancing in the ring I'm sick of it!''
