David Price: 'I'd be interested in Deontay Wilder bout'

They aren't the same age, I swear people think Wilder is old.Comment

Price didn't step up till he was 30 just like Golovkin didn't fight anyone like Macklin till he was 31 but they get passes the 28 year old Wilder doesn't.Wilder is the american David Price
I find it hilarious people have this as an assumed victory for Wilder, when the fight is pretty much 50/50.
They both have only 1 good punch, no gameplan or noteworthy boxing ability at professional level with the added extra of having questionable chins.
I guess it might offend some when i claim their american hope for the heavyweight division is just another David Price. All i can give David is that at least he stepped up to fight a top 40 opponent, something we probably wont see Wilder do till at least 2020Comment

Deontay Wilder isn't the right opponent for Price right now.
I still believe in Price, he can achieve a lot in boxing, just he must take all road from beggining. He must fight few "no names". Work on his stamina and defense much more, after 1 year take Tony Thompson for real redemption. Destroy someone whith good recors but no power like Malik Scott. then and only then he can try to play with a big kids.
To step in the ring with someone like Wilder or Haye will be just another loss for him. He needs mental strenght to grow, and the loss to someone of those wont help him.Comment

wouldnt be so sure about a wilder win. price can punch too and wilders defense is very suspecthttp://www.sportsmole.co.uk/boxing/n...ut_107635.html
Honestly this guy needs to stay the **** away from Wilder.... He's gonna put Khan to shame with the twerking he'd do if they fought.... wtf is he thinking?Comment

Time for wee Frank Maloney to step in and earn his dollar for managing and promoting Price's career.
Maloney thought the Thompson re-match was a mistake and told the British boxing press that it was his personal error on his part not to have over-ruled Price on the matter; so now really is the time for Frank to stamp a tiny and expensive loafer and say no to any Wilder fight.
Maloney used to be superb at managing his fighters - both in terms of getting them the right fights, sparring, training and publicity - and I hope he reads Price the riot act and tells him to stop thinking about Wilder and getting back to improving his technique step-by-step at domestic level.Comment

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe Wilder knocks Price out, but there's just as good a chance that Price knocks out Wilder.Wilder is the american David Price

I'd like to be against this as a possible fight for Wilder, but the unfortunate fact is it'd be a huge step up.Comment
