Stevenson wants to fight an old man, confirmed. Seriously though, I'd rather him fight Kovalev next. Unify the belts.

I'm not overly confident that Stevenson beats Cloud tonight. That said, I don't see Kovalev being that more, if any more deserving of a shot Stevenson than B-Hop. They're pretty much equal level opponents at this point. And with X being the bigger name and bigger payday, it only makes sense for him to be Stevenson's target.
