Ggg would smoke Jr., but this video means nothing because it is sparring. It could have been just before a ggg fight and maybe junior wasn't supposed to be hitting and risking a cut or injury before the fight? We have no context, we cant assume this was the same situation as a real fight. Maybe jr. had just gone 20rnds, and ggg was fresh?

LOL, I've never seen Golovkin do a rapid 6 punch combo to the stomach, that isn't his style at all. Chavez would dwarf Golovkin too and those guys looked about the same size.

I watched a lot of GGG's amateur and pro fights, it's him. But it doesn't mean much, Chavez Jr got outclassed by Martirosyan in sparring, it's nothing new for him.

Would have been interesting to see these guys fight, but I can safely say we will probably never see these two fight. Chavez will settle in as a light heavy and I doubt we would not see GGG at that weight for years.

Too bad the full session wasn't there because it would have been fun to watch.

Yeah, I'm starting to think it's not Golovkin too. I've never seen Golovkin do that type of shoe shining. Looks like Chavez though.

It is Golovkin. I'm 100% sure, people need to pay attention to the detail and watch his previous amatuer fights to see what he is capable of doing.


1:03, he throws the same kind of punch combination in the amateurs, and a little bit later in the montage at 1:15 does another 5-7 punch combination. It's entirely dependent on his opponent, if he thinks he will land the punches he will throw them and connect with em, Chavez sucks at defense, so he's a suitable punch bag.

Anyways, if you can't realize it's him it's probably because you don't recognize his style enough.

I Like GGG but this is sparring and he aint do shit but put a glove in his face to keep him off, what happens when he cant keep him off. which he was trying 100% to do.

Hmm... You do get that GGG was the guy landing at will and pushing the Jr around? The guy with the lighter blue shorts?

However, as you say it is sparring and was a coupla years back I think, when Fattez Jr was a bit smaller.
