In a year or two, Beterbiev will be the **** at light heavyweight. He had Kovalev running scared in the amateurs...

I believe the last time they fought Beterbiev won by only a point, 25-24. Korobov was a better amateur than Beterbiev, beat Kovalev by a wider margin, and look at him now.

Not to say Beterbiev won't turn out to be a successful pro, but amateur success doesn't always enable accurate and specific predictions of pro success.

Yeah I know, I'm just talking smack to represent the guy fighting in my hometown. Still, I truly believe he can be a force in the divison, and I would LOVE to see him in the pros against Kovalev.
