We'll just have to wait and see. Maybe one of them will prove me wrong. Mayweather is a different animal, so him dominating Alvarez doesn't hurt Canelo's stock with me. And I think Trout > Lara, Vanes. The Vanes/Lara fight was close too. Lara did not dominate. Vanes started the fight stronger and Lara came on later in the fight before it was stopped. Doesn't mean he dominated. We don't know how it would have ended.

I think Canelo beats them both. Just my thought at the moment.

never said he dominated just said vanes threw at air the whole fight which is true ... but you right time will tell ... i dont even think lara is that great or anything but styles make fights and lara's is a nightmare for canelo .. but funny i think canelo beats up angulo ... triangle theories don't work lol canelo needs a stationary target even in the trout fight it was one punch at a time cause he couldnt move his feet to crowd trout nor his stamina let him have that energy to do so ... that 15 seconds spurts of fighting does not work with top tier fighters .. think about this peter quillen goldenboy's top middleweight he will hurt canelo badly im not saying that to hate on canelo but in a year or so he won't make 154 no more and quillen will hurt him bad .. i doubt goldenboy will let that happen smh .. if canelo had duran's gas tank and workrate and feet movement to get inside i be a believer but he will never have that

I appreciate your style of respectful debate. We just don't seem to agree on anything. Regardless, I respect you as a poster and respect your opinion, mine is just the polar opposite.

I really like Peter Quillen's persona, but I think he is, without question, the weakest champ at 160 lbs. He is extremely one-dimensional, and has very limited amateur experience to draw from. I don't think he would beat Alvarez by any stretch of the imagination. Quillen is extremely flat-footed.

Yeah, I like Pete, too, but he doesn't inspire great confidence versus the best in the 160 range.

You moust be new to boxing, read and educate yourself and then do some homework, Lara fought Angulo in a very small ring, 17', he could not rehydrate more than 10 pounds while they let el perro go all the way up to 175lbs and on top of that the real angulo show up, the pressure non stop fighter and still Lara make an otherwise proud mexican warrior quit, if that is not special then you haven't watch too many fights to compare.

This is what happens when you really like a boxer, you just don't see his flaw, Lara has fought and beat better fighters, not named Floyd, than ginger, he has fought bigger fighters than anyone ginger has fought, and beat them, ginger got hurt by a 140 pounder named cotto, so when Quillin land a shot ginger should be dancing with the stars, in his head, and Lara will give him a crash course on how to stop a left hand with your face, the kid has only fought JWW and old ww, the only real JMW he fought, they make sure he knew he was ahead, open score ordered by his corrupted godfather sulaiman

He had nothing to lose by fighting Floyd. Plus he gets an 8 mil check. If he loses to Lara his stock goes wayyyy down
