Smaller fights don't usually get discussion threads till the day of the fight. Marquez-Bradley and Cotto-Rodriguez have one, so does Pacquiao-Rios and Alvarado-Provodnikov.

The cancelling of Haye-Fury, as well as Jrs shenanigans kind of dampened my excitement for this weekend. Still not a bad night of boxing though.

I'm excited to root for Vera; I think he'll put up a good fight. Fight isn't in Texas so maybe he'll have a chance on the cards. Hopefully Chavez Jr is sluggish enough for Vera to take advantage of.
