Dude, let's call a spade a spade and acknowledge that Miguel was good welterweight but a less than steller junior middle weight.

I like cotto to but his best years are behind him and a young up and comer in canelo would only prove the painfully obvious that not only is cotto passed it but he just doesn't belong in this division.

So thus, I stand by an easy payday for Alvarez and a fairwell payday for Miguel.

Oh, and by the way, a win like this would do nothing for canelo's career. But rather would only put another past prime fighter on his resume of already long past fighters.

Agreed that junior middle not as successful for Cotto and i have said in the past that Canelo has more formidable challengers out there. I mean Cotto met all challenges so Canelo should as well, nevertheless, Doubtful this fight happens but if it does we shall see if in fact easy time is had by Canelo..

Cotto said he's with Top Rank now, I doubt that he'd fight Canelo. The ginger will have to make the pot pretty big for Cotto to fight him
