I was just thinking since Mayweather is running out of opponents to fulfill his contract, why doesnt he just fight Cotto again in a rematch of one of his most action packed fights!! imagine the numbers if they staged it in MSG its ppv material.. so why not?!.. what do you guys say?

Because Cotto looks like he is on the decline. If he would of beat Trout then ok, but he lost almost every round. He needs to impress with Rodriguez and fight and beat a top opponent then we could talk about this fight -

Don't get me wrong Cotto fought his heart out and did well but that was a shot Cotto fighting his heart out, a rematch would be embarrasing and would never happen, he was beaten comprehensively.Comment

i see this fight happening if cotto looks good vs. rodriguez. it was a good fight and it will sell.
i know most will hate it and i would understand why if he was fighting martinez, ggg, broner or pacquiao instead but he's not.
can khan or garcia do better than cotto? no. will they bring the fight to mayweather like cotto? no. garcia will box and get shut out like canelo. khan will get knocked out.Comment
