David Tua- excellent chin, left hook
Winky Wright- tight defense, great jab
Hatton- scrappy, tough, rugged
Khan- great heart, very good speed, low IQ, suspect chin

David Tua - One Demensional. Relied too much on his power and wasn't disciplined enough to keep his weight in check. Left hook was nice, but a good jab would always trouble him

Winky Wright - Technically sound, nice tight defense and a great jab. Sometimes wasn't busy enough, and he needed to sit down on his punches more. Would have been better if he could have gotten down to 147.

Ricky Hatton - Although very one demensional he was great for the sport. He had fans that will always support him. Wasn't discplined enough and let his weight get out of control between fights. Not very techinically sound, but his mauling style was able to take him far until he met someone who knew how to handle it. He was his best at 140.

Amir Khan - All flash. Not a good as he thinks he is. He has speed, but his balance is terrible (punches over is feet) and his chin is subpar. A front runner, the longer the fight goes the worst he gets. Until he stops making excuses for his loses he will always be an underacheiver.

Wright - Underrated

Tua was a childhood favorite. He was a tough, hard hitting mofo. Him ****ing up John Ruiz in like 19 seconds is one of my earliest fight memories.

Hatton has become really underrated over the years. The things people say about him, it's horrible.

Khan is pure fun, but it's a shame he wasn't better trained. He could have been a truly memorable fighter.

Winky is another childhood favorite, and a hometown favorite for me living in the Tampa Bay area. Very good fighter. His win over Trinidad was great, I had a lot of Puerto Rican friends in high school that I got to rub that win in the face of.

by far the best fighter on that list is winky wright.

winky was a true technician
great jab coming from the southpaw. good inside fighter. great chin. could box, could get dirty, had some cute moves. terrific fighter. a rough go at 154.

david tua is one of the better HW to never win a title. great chin, and one of the best left hooks you will ever see. he fought some very good fighters, and even a bonafide great in lennox lewis.

hatton was a limited fighter, but a good one. his win over tszyu was one of the biggest in british history. the man brought droves of brits to all of his fights, wherever they might be. he'll be remembered most for getting stopped by mayweather and of course pacquiao, but that won't be fair. he was a very good fighter, and a massive attraction.


khan is extremely chinny. extremely. his speed makes him half of a great fight, though. he's fast while remaining vulnerable. he can get to guys without outclassing them. given his chin, it makes for great drama.
his fights with garcia, maidana, and peterson were classics.

Tua - Iron jawed HW version of Matthysse. Lazy, wasted talent.

Khan - ATG worst defense, lowest ring IQ. Decent speed.

Hatton - I only saw the fights where he lost.

Wright - Underrated, very smart, great chin.
