    Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) does not rule possibility of retirement - even if he defeats Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12KOs) for the WBO welterweight title. Marquez, who recently turned 40, challeges Bradley on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. If Marquez wins, it would his fifth world title in his fifth weight division. Marquez will determine the future of his career on his ability to perform next month.

          Reaaaaallllyy Marquez? You don't want 10-13 million dollars to potentially beat a guy you already beat when he was less damaged? Even if you lose you still get remembered for that knockout and walk away with a nice retirement cheque.

                Maybe ill believe it if he wins.

                I dont think he is going to retire if he losses, at least one more on mexico city against a lesser opponent.

                But i do think he can pull it off... timmy took a lot of damage on that last fight

                    Good, when he loses then he won't make history at winning a belt at WW. There is only 1 title holder at 147 in my opinion and Marquez already got his ass beat by Floyd.
